Laugh or Cry
30F/breeze/hazy/ We don't know whether to laugh or cry. We have been going around and around with a TV provider trying to return equipment since we switched companies Jan 2. We keep calling and they keep promising to send a box since they say we are beyond the miles limit to a real UPS store and need to take it to part time UPS drop off place. No box has ever appeared.
The reason for our concern is that if the equipment is not returned within a certain number of days, we would be charged a penalty, the price of the equipment, and be turned in to Collections.
After numerous phone sessions, we finally worked our way to a higher up supervisor or something. He dug into our records and it turns out all this was unnecessary since our equipment is too old for reuse and should be discarded. Good grief, so all that blood, sweat, tears, and phone time was for nothing. I guess we will do our HappyDance for the sheer joy of finally being shed of the silly things.
